They say it is impossible for one person to spend a billion dollars in their lifetime. Has anyone tested this theory? If not I volunteer. Daydreaming about what it would be like to win the lottery is natural but what would you do with it? No, after you paid your tithe, taxes, bills. What would you do? Me? A vacation with my family, a house (no more PCSing for me), take care of my family and friends, donate to some charities and start a business. Pretty simple dreams. Yet, each one just as important to me.
Do you still dream? I mean, REALLY dream. We do it all through childhood and into early adulthood. Then we "settle down" and many of us stop reaching for the stars. Somewhere along the way we stop dreaming. Why? It's not like we achieve everything we could ever want (you were just thinking about what you would do with a billion dollars). Many of us just get busy. We have a job, spouse, house, and children. Children become our main focus and we forget about dreaming big. What better example for our children than to dream big and go for it?
Are you still dreaming big and going for it or are have you settled into your life and are just living, or surviving? I urge you to LIVE your life and dream again. Be passionate and do something you have always wanted to do. Do it together with your family. Involve your friends and community. Inspire those around you. Who knows, maybe you will change the world.
